Conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. New methods of war

For the past several months, the world has been riveted to the protracted standoff between Russia and Ukraine. The civilians of the conflict countries are worried about their relatives and compatriots in the war zone, as the number of victims has long exceeded thousands. Independent experts are increasingly attributing everything that is happening to a conflict between the world superpowers - America, acting under the veil of Ukraine and the Russian Federation, which became an enemy of the entire world community overnight. Although, in principle, this state of affairs has always been the case for Russia. It is just that today everything is accompanied by an armed clash on the territory of another state.

But it is not only on the territory of long-suffering Ukraine that gunfire can be heard. At present, a conflict as old as the world itself has escalated. The other day there was another high-profile armed clash on the territory of Karabakh. The representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Armenia have been accusing each other of violating the ceasefire agreements. This time the sad result of this aggravation of the old conflict is two dead and nineteen wounded servicemen of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. All this bloodshed occurred with the use of modern mortars, grenade launchers and drone strikes. 

More and more often we receive news from the fronts of various modern armed conflicts that drones are becoming the main participants of offensives and the main perpetrators of human casualties. The methods of combat in modern conditions have changed.

Often the training of soldiers in the area of combat conflicts takes place with the use of shooting simulators that allow using virtual reality to fully prepare soldiers for real battles, without the implementation of shots from combat guns. A vivid example of such innovations is now being discussed on the Internet. On the expanse of the video hosting site YouTube there is more than one video of the Ukrainian military being trained to fire hand grenade launchers and anti-missile systems with the help of modern shooting simulators. 

And no matter how the soldiers are trained or how the attacks are carried out, ordinary people die: someone's sons, fathers and husbands. And as always, human lives depend on the negotiations of unwilling leaders of states and their representatives.
